WOW London is the inaugural annual conference for West London and the Thames Valley region. The growth and development opportunities in this part of the southeast are enormous, but making the most of them requires cross-boundary collaboration both between councils and between public and private sector partners. WOW London brings all the parties together to discuss what can be delivered at scale and with ambition.

Notwithstanding London’s growth to the east, with London Heathrow airport’s growing economy, the ever increasing possibility of a third runway, the opening of the Elizabeth Line, the regeneration of Old Oak Common and many other developments, the west is likely to create more new homes and jobs in the next 20 years than it has done in the last 50. And this isn’t just about London: the pulse of growth will be felt along the M4 corridor when, next year, Reading, Maidenhead, Slough and other centres brought within an hour of the city.

WOW will provide a coherent narrative for this unprecedented transformation, through the developers, local authorities and other bodies that are rising to the challenge of driving this region forward.

WOW London takes place at The Porter Building in Slough, a new development that embodies the progressive changes taking place in West London and the Thames Valley region. This new office development will host a day of plenary addresses, workshops and one-to-one meetings to encourage collaboration and accelerate growth.
Over 200 delegates will include senior politicians and officers from west London boroughs and their neighbours further west, extending to Reading. They will be joined by policymakers from central government and agencies; local business movers and shakers via chambers of commerce; and decision makers from developers, investors and their advisors and agents.
